Making a zine Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005 While photocopying something in the supply room, I noticed a stack of goldenrod paper, and that took me back to the feeling of making a zine. How rich or accomplished I felt when I completed a zine that I was proud of. I remember all the times we were at Kinko's or Mail Boxes Etc, in Duluth or some other state, making a zine to disperse to people unknown. Work is going more smoothly today. I think eating breakfast has made me feel better. I had a bowl of spaghetti and brought the leftovers for my lunch here. Another good band name, the Leftovers. I think I will try to become part of Tight Pockets when I have some spare money. I want to book some shows there and have tin cans, a ramshackle amp or two, a homemade picture hanging wire guitar, and one of my Hing Hon's there. I really think we could bust something out with that equipment, the chance to make noise, and the chance to have a show attended by our peers. |
