One before, one after

Gross story
Friday, Apr. 27, 2007
OK, here is a gross story, but one that is begging to be told.

A couple weeks ago, after peeing in the urinal in the bathroom on my floor at work, I was pulling up my socks or something and happened to touch my knees to find that they were a little wet.

Huh, I wondered, what is this... sweat? Or did pee ricochet off the urinal onto my pants??? Anyways, I was like, this is a freak occurance.

But, a couple times after later pee sessions, I checked to find slightly wet knees, sometimes more wet than others. Still couldn't really tell what was happening for sure, but I was willing to bet I was peeing on myself.

How long has this been going on??? Has it always happened at urinals? Or is it just the way this one is shaped.

Needless to say, folks, my knees are currently very slightly wet. I need to watch where the pee goes I guess?

Anyways, in other news, one thing I really like about my current job that I don't get to enjoy enough is the photocopy room/file room. It contains sensitive information, so the door is always locked, and when you go in, you're supposed to close the door, and it has the smell you'd expect files and a photocopy plus office supplies to give off after being in a closed room with two windows facing to the east, heated up by the morning sun.

In other news, I might go see Crystal Castles on their strange North Carolina tour Saturday, Renaissance Fair on Sunday, and see Tobi Vail play with Old Haunts next week. They're playing in Birmingham, and it's tempting to go to that too.

In conclusion, the more I can see my white walls and the carpet at home, the better it gets. It's soon get to the point where my bedroom is just my bed and a wood folding table containing effects pedals and small keyboards and a relic or two. It feels homely when I can actually walk around not having to step over everything.
