One before, one after

Effects pedal
Friday, Dec. 08, 2006
Another thing I could do (rather than buy a guitar pedal a month for $100) is borrow a lot of other people's for an hour on a Sunday and set them all up once, record the output briefly and take a photo of it all for the record cover.

Instead of buying petals [sic], I could just use the money to go around setting up dates with other people's ones.

There are some that are so pretty with the best names.

I lost the auction for the Digital Dimension tonight (probably for the best, since it went past $100 eventually - it was around $40), a neon peach colored affair with everything just right (the knobs, etc.)

Even if I got to the point where I could make my own pedals, it's so fun to think of arranging factory ones that have the essence of flowers.

Battery power is so ______. What's the word I'm looking for?

Maybe sublime, but come on, there is a better one.

Sherbet colors, neons, metallics, shades of brown.

In the age of smaller circuits, imagine a series of Lego-like blocks that are essentially effects pedals... or each one is one component.
