Last night, I recorded my first sounds on 1/4" tape, and they sounded great. Now, it won't play tape right (it always speeds up), although I could have something wrong, but listening to my voice speed up and down in it's characteristic way was fun, treating the spool like a scratching turntable. I can't wait to do splices.

I took the bus to get an external harddrive.
