Red velvet Monday, Feb. 13, 2006 Whilst listening to a .mid of The Man Machine by Kraftwerk and eating a big piece of red velvet birthday cake made for me by Leannah, I'm thinking about the stuff that Twilight Rodent sent me (arrived today). A synthetic long-sleeve button up tie-dye-like shirt, a whole Apple IIgs (!!!), tons of disks (Apple Rocker, etc.), and a nice letter. I had a really good time last night sampling 1-2 bits of old rap and dance 12"s on the Yamaha VSS-30 and Concertmate 650. I really would like to make a whole record like that, and always have, out of my precious crate of 12"s found at the rate of 1 or 2 a month for the past couple years. It's really, really cold today. 2 heaters blasting. |
