Wacky cakes Friday, Jan. 28, 2005 Last night was fun. Two guitarists and a MIDI drummer playing for the Chili/Hot Dog/Cake auction in the Barnett Shoals Elementary cafeteria. Kids were running everywhere, wacky cakes were everywhere. (Note to self: Wacky Cakes is a good band name) There's a really cool ceramic wall/mosaic mural done by art students. It's almost hands down the best art work I've seen in Athens, better than all college level art work. Chelsea's mom gave us surplus chili and hot dogs. Sweet tea and pink lemonade were on tap. We tapped it. We had a big fight afterwards. |
