Blacker monk time Friday, Oct. 29, 2004 Wow, what a turn of events. I didn't get the Library Computer Specialist job, work was cancelled this morning, work will be cancelled all next week at my second job and because of some confusion I induced, we actually need to pay half our apartment deposit next Friday rather than at any time gradually in the next three months. Whoops! It's a grey day. I called my mom asking to borrow money and really got turned down except she was going to give me $90 anyway which is quite a bit for her. She actually said you'll borrow $300 at first and then $300 more and then $300 more and then you'll never pay it back. I was kind of offended by that, but I really shouldn't expect to rely on other people. Work at second job looks to be pleasant so far. Tomorrow, I shall try to sell my video camera and digital 4 track to the highest bidder. It will be quite a success when I manage to dig myself out of this hole. |
