Rambling ramble Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004 10 years ago, my life was Super Nintendo. I scrounged to rent a game every weekend. On paper, I ruthlessly designed many fighting games that are supremely embarrassing/outrageous. They were the beginning of a journey from interpretations of mainstream culture to the heart of mainstream culture and right through to the other dimension, some kind of personal subculture based on the most basic cultural common denominators. In other news, if I can find a way to transfer (backup) a few key files from my computer onto disk, CD-R, or email them to myself, I have figured out how to solve my hard drive corruptions. Temp agencies are a blast. They're calling me from my online resume, and I'm putting on the beige shoes and busting out on the office tests. Three nights ago, we blew the last of the last money on Doritos, Whoppers, Juju fish, and orange rolls. It was the best night I have had in quite some time. |
