Christ maze Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003 Today I bought a Brother Pro Disk Composer at the Last Chance for $10. Apparently, it cost $300 when it came out over a decade ago. It is a midi data recorder with a disk drive. Just what I always wanted. I was hopelessly trying to make an Apple II program to suit the same purpose, but now I have this gem with a green backlit LCD screen. I also saw the largest and possibly most retarded Kawasaki toy keyboard ever made. There was also a Baby Culture toy grand piano with promising "Big Drum" and "Small Drum" buttons, but I passed both up. It is very hot and dry in my parent's house, so I had a nightmare last night in which people in cars ran over my cat multiple times. It was disgusting. My dad just said god damn it, because he dropped a pan. I continue to dream of having a studio. For Christmas, I got my sister a compact disc copy of the Young Marble Giants reissue and my parents a video rental gift certificate. I tried to think of what made them most happy, and I pictured them being happy watching videos. |
