One before, one after

Coke and popcorn

I came home last night expecting to open the door to an empty apartment, but instead opened the door to a man sleeping on the couch bed. I just stood there for about ten seconds before the man said "I'm Javier's father."

The cranes, trucks, and tractors continue to eradicate the old Joe's restaurant building to the core. Now that the building's gone, they are like digging a hole in its place. It sounds like World War II when I wake up every morning, because the machines sound like tanks. A lot of building and destroying is being done this winter in Athens.

Yesterday, I bought mouth wash antiseptic and floss to get to work with my newly diagnosed gum disease. I also caught two episodes of The Next Generation with an old bud. I have learned that if you only accept yes or no, you are not going to risk getting a no answer. And that love is magic. I owe Riker for that one.
