Rap attack Tuesday, April 1, 2003 I have been reading my library book, Rap Attack 2, all day today. My favorite parts so far is when Grandmaster Flash plays for the first time in front of a big audience, a couple thousand people, and lifts and drops the needle for each beat, and it's in perfect time and when he hears "Rappers Delight" on the radio for the first time, and it's in his nightmares, because he wanted to have his song on the radio. The first part is happy, and the second part is sad, but I like how Flash remembers the times. |
