Two eyes in the dark Tuesday, December 10, 2002 Today has been a very cool day. Javier and me walked in the cold and rain for about two hours. We went to the other side of town and hundled in a warehouse waiting for the rain to stop. The landscape was thick with hip houses and puddles. I got two stuffed panda bears. One is holding a heart and the other is a baby. I am now listening to the dub that Dave made of the Little Wings and Calvin Johnson show a couple weeks ago. It is bad ass. Combined with the newly acquired Christmas lights in the apartment and the winter rainstorm weather, the world feels at peace. Many visitors came over today since I uploaded two new Internet singles. Go to Archaeology Frontier to hear them! Missy and Ryan came over which was rad, and Dave came over a little later, although it was sad to hear that he and Gabby are leaving at the end of January. I like Missy's ideas about taking over the world of music. I have my Apple II equipment set up to make a winter holiday video display for the kitchen window. That way, all the people driving by in cars will feel some winter joy. I miss two eyes in the dark. |
