Silk robes Tuesday, April 9, Year 2002 I sort of hate writing a lot of stuff here and have it be public. I really just want to mess around with some of it, and it occasionally feels scary that people can read it and take it as a definitive statement of me. In that vein, I don't like writing for an audience. But, I do like that what I write here is proof. For whatever it can be proof for, I like that. And that is my double identity. I like that I can get just enough recognition from writing here, the guestbook entries and the gold member stats, that I can tell something wacky is happening with what I do, and it is like I am living a fantasy. Whenever I would read magazines around the house like Newsweek, I would think this is garbage. I wish I had to chance to be writing a magazine. And my chance is diaryland.
